Getting to the roots - navigating tech, media, & communications
The Tech News not fit to print in mainstream media!
  1. UK Opens Google Search Anti-Trust Probe- While U.S. regulators will most likely be kneecapped, the UK is at least opening a probe into antitrust regulations for Google search.
  2. SEC Sues Musk Over Twitter Ownership Disclosure - the trial balloon that started it all, Musk swiping Twitter from the public sphere was most likely illegal says the SEC. Musk was required to report his stake in the company. They allege he failed to do so and bought Twitter on a budget by depressing the stock. Current SEC Chair, Gerry Gensler, has already said he will resign to be replaced.
  3. How to Delete Facebook, IG, & Threads Rise - After Zuck announced a series of regressive and harmful changes, searches for deleting Meta apps skyrocketed. Through the disruption, what is clear is that weโ€™re in an era of social decentralization. More people will be scattered across different platforms. Owned channels will be your friend.
