๐ค Bite-Sized Knurd: I am so grateful for all who have and continue to read this newsletter over the last two years. Letโs keep exploring and changing together!
Dear Roots of Change Community,
Itโs hard for me to believe that Iโve been writing this newsletter for 2 years now. When I started writing, we were deep in the pandemic, a lot was uncertain, and I was angry at Greg Abbott (some things never change!).
But a lot has changed.
The threats to marginalized communities, the wealth gap, the climate crisis, and other major societal issues have only grown in urgency. Therefore the work of excavating society and ourselves so that we may enact systemic change as our most authentic selves is more important than ever.
It has been such an honor to be able to write for an amazing community of people who read every week. I am still getting comfortable referring to myself as a writer, but I love every minute of it. I get so much joy from crafting stories and illuminating what is often overly complicated.
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for the small amount of time you take each week to read this newsletter. โฅ๏ธ
Keeping Changemaking Accessible
Today I have a special anniversary ask for you: to help spread the word!
I believe that the work of change is for all of us. If each of us helps to intentionally cultivate small change, we collectively have the power to build the sustainable, systemic social change that our world needs right now.
Please consider forwarding this to 5 to 10 friends who care about our world and want to grow and cultivate change.
Hit that forward button or click below to spread the knurdโฆI mean word. ๐
And if you have the means, I also welcome anyone open to becoming a paid subscriber. The work of change-making is vital which is why this newsletter will forever be free and accessible to all.
I depend solely on reader support to do this work. It is thanks to paid subscribers that I am able to continue this work and expand our offerings. More support means greater resources for the whole community!
Thank you all and Iโll see you back in your inbox on Thursday!
In Solidarity,
Sam Chavez
