Mayor Lurie announces 127 city job cuts with more to follow. We must push back on the lie that government should be run like a business. Government is about people, not profit margin. When you starve a city, this is the natural consequence. Taxing the wealthy fairly would mean no jobs cuts and more public transit!
The Texa-fication of San Francisco is well on it’s way to eroding democracy and a functioning government for the people.
