I am so excited to announce that we have new leadership! After the 2024 election, the roots of change agency hit a rough financial patch and have struggled to find funding since. We scoured the progressive landscape for donors to help us fund this work to support and build up heart-first activists and social change communicators.

We couldn't find anyone to donate. Something about Palestine. 🤔

Luckily, Palantir Technologies Inc. came in with millions 💸 to buy me out! I was like heck yeah! Who needs clean air from microplastics or safe online environments when you could be a millionaire!

🤪 April Fools!

If you have no idea what Palantir Technologies Inc is, you are lucky.

Their evil profile has grown since I first sent this last April. They are partly responsible for the global mess we are in! They are a Peter Thiel-built, programmatic data business that scrapes all the information about us online so that Trump, Russia, and friends can sell ads, start culture wars, and manipulate the masses. And it worked very well!

The 2024 election was a successful slow coup that we saw coming, but didn't have the reach or influence (read money) to shift the narrative. If we are going to build a better world, we need strong progressive media to help us navigate the storm. I aim to make the roots of change agency part of that ecosystem, but I need your support!

Build Progressive Media as a Seedling Member

Last year, my April Fool's joke resulted in $0 in funding. At the time, Palantir was a niche joke that many didn't understand. However, I've been watching them manipulating our society for years. And they continue to spend billions on right-wing media to influence us all.

Meanwhile, progressive movements, especially those led by women, Black, Brown, queer, and trans people are being starved.

Our movements are at a crossroads. White supremacist capitalist patriarchy is being exposed like it's never been before in our society and in our own movements. It's time to build towards a healthy and feminist view of organizing that is collective, grassroots-led, and truly counters the harms of the violent structures that persist in our world. We need to lead differently.

Rooting into Heart-first Activism

Our media ecosystem is a weekly opportunity to build up our heart-first muscles in our organizing. It's meant to shift how we do activism. Reconnecting with the roots of indigenous learning and remembering our interconnectedness.

And that's why I'm reaching out to my community today. I need the help of my community to sustain myself and support others. The revolution is a woven basket. Community will save us all, if we invest in community.

Today, I am vulnerably asking you to support my work so that I may support the movement leaders on the front lines. I have so much hope for the future and our ability to shape this world and I hope you can support me today in building this vision.
