๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Winterizing Your Organizing with Taryn Talley

For our last public podcast of the year, we root into the winter with collaborator Taryn Talley. We recorded on Trans Day of Remembrance and addressed the hate against the trans community as a fear of freedom. As two spirit people, we balance trans hate with indigenous community care. We share ideas to deepen your community organizing, concrete steps for addressing food insecurity, and the necessity of self-care in activism. Watch todayโ€™s episode.

This winter is a time to reflect and build resilient organizing practices for the year to come. We can build revolutionary act of self-love as a means to combat oppression that radiate beyond ourselves.

"Community will save us."

On the Private Podcast

This is our last public podcats of the year! Wow, itโ€™s already December. But Seedling Members can expect a special episode I recorded on the road in New York City. I was honored to speak with two reverends from Middle Church, a multicultural, multiethnic, intergenerational church โ€œpowered by fierce, revolutionary Love, with room for all. We are an LGBTQ+ and Queer-affirming church, committed to healing souls and the world by dismantling racist, classist, sexist, ethnocentrist, ableist, and cisheterosexist systems of oppression.โ€

Itโ€™s been a pleasure to grow in community with a church that accepts all of me. I hope you enjoy the conversation next Monday!
