๐ Supreme Court Gone Wild! The Steady Coup
Part II: The Roots & Decay of U.S. Democracy
Hey y'all, welcome back! ๐๐ผ
Can I blame Mercury Retrograde? Tech glitches & summer travels abound. Apologies for missing the last week+ of newsletters. The best laid plans before my trip (more to come!) didn't pan out. So without further adieu, to continue the theme of living through a decaying democracy, we turn our focus to the Supreme Court, it's loose founding that led to an easy takeover by white supremacists. It was easy to replace their white robes for black. Read on for more...

I'm having dรฉjร vu. Anyone else? The black cat in The Matrix keeps crossing my path. We touched on the Texas flooding and now I want to get into our political structures. We assume our institutions are stable & sound, but many have very surprising beginnings.
So let's get into it. I've been re-airing some of my old writing this year because they are more important than ever! Our world keeps spiraling back to old wounds because we haven't solved them yet. The more we can explore with curiosity and discover how we break from the worlds trauma cycle, the better we will all be.

My friends who control the Supreme Court don't have the public's interest at heart! Some justices replaced white robes for black ones and have been much more successful!

So this week, we're digging back into the weird history of the U.S. Supreme Court and how authoritarians could use the court's ambiguity for their own destructive means.
