With AI coming in, the SEO landscape will be profoundly impacted. Many organizations are already seeing the results. When was the last time you checked your website analytics? I recommend that you do. Many organizations are already seeing dips in their website traffic due to Google's AI search product.
With AI, searchers will no longer need to click on a website to get all the answers. Many questions are swirling about how Google will credit the sources where they are finding all of the information that AI spits out. The challenge is that AI is pulling answers from so many sources that your website might not be credited or seen despite having given Google the answer.
Given the turbulent times ahead, today I want to offer some considerations for your SEO/website strategy for the foreseeable future. We are in for some uncertainty as Google continues to test its AI products and decide how it impacts all of us.
